Update on Chicanes for Milton Road and Berry Hill Road

Posted 159 weeks ago (31/03) by Theresa Goss

The work due to start March/April 2021 to build the two chicanes has been put back to June 2021. As with any major project, issues have crept up along the way and there is now a need for a road closure for the works to commence.

The Parish Council thanks the community for it's patience and understanding, as these issue are beyond our control. Councillors and residents have worked very hard on these traffic calming measures, so the delay is disappointing for everyone, but works will commence in a matter of weeks.

In addition, the closure of the western arm of the Milton Road/Horn Hill Road junction (by the oak tree) is also delayed as all the works are wrapped up into one project.
