Councillors >Jamie Cox

My name is Jamie and I have been a resident of Adderbury for over 18 years now. I am Married to Melanie who is a Midwife, and have 2 children Ellie, who is 21 years old and studying at Bristol university, and Charlie who is 17 and studying at Stratford college. I work as an Operations Manager for a company based in Southam, Warwickshire. I have always had a passion for trying to improve the lives of the people in the village. I held the post of Akela for 1st Adderbury Cubs for many years. I am also the current director for Adderbury theatre Workshop. Just before the lockdown caused by COVID19, I set up a Facebook group to help check in on peoples Mental Health called ‘Off The Couch’ and I am very keen to ensure that mental health is not ignored and people get the help they need. I am just about to start promoting the push to help homeless people in Banbury and Oxfordshire. On top of all that, I am also the lead singer in a band that has played at PiP a few times and also a keen running and Member of ARC.
